7 days/6 nights

Overview
“Imagine a land, a far-away place where the caravan camels roam; where you wander among every culture and tongue, it’s chaotic, but hey, it’s home!
When the winds from the east and the suns from the west and the sand in the glass is right; come on down, stop on by – hop a carpet and fly to another Arabian night.” – Aladdin’s Genie
Trip Itinerary
Step into the Sahara Desert – a land of mythical magic and sand. The largest hot desert known to man, this otherworldly landscape is the stuff of childhood imaginings.
From a sand-sea so immense it drowns the mind to orange dunes painstakingly and exquisitely sculpted by the wind, this is a place for remote fires and slow camel journeys.
The Sahara is a destination for contemplation, reflection, and stars… so many stars!
Day 1
Arrive at Cairo airport.
You will be met and assisted by our representative throughout the immigration and customs formalities, then transfer by coach to the hotel for your first night in Cairo.
Day 2

In the morning, enjoy an open buffet for breakfast or call room service and have them deliver your food straight to your door for breakfast-in-bed.
Afterwards, our guide will meet you in the lobby so you can begin your adventure. We visit the Egyptian Museum, which is home to the most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities in the world. It has 120,000 items with a representative amount on display and the treasure of King Tut Ankh Amoun.
Then we drive to nearby Giza to visit the Pyramids and the famous Sphinx. We also make a stop at a secret little temple nearby.
Day 3

After breakfast, you check out of the hotel in Cairo and we head out to our true destination – Bahariya Oasis.
Explore the little village at your leisure before we take a sunset trip to the English house where you will be mesmerized with a panoramic view of the land around us.
We spend the night at this oasis village.
Day 4

After breakfast, we make a visit to the Museum of Mummies discovered at the Valley of the Golden Mummies – a burial site of what is estimated to be more than ten thousand mummies dating back to the Greco Roman period. We also make a stop at the temple of Amasis.
For lunch, we will enjoy an authentic bedouin meal.
In the afternoon, we board a 4WD SUV and venture out into the White Desert passing through the Black Valley. We make a stop at the valley of El Haize where you can relax in a rejuvenating hot spring and the crystal mountains.

On arrival at a pre-chosen location, our guides will pitch tents, set the camp up, and get a fire started in preparation for the cool night ahead.
Tonight, we sleep in the desert and grill our own dinner under a chandelier of stars.
Day 5
After breakfast, you have time to roam and enjoy the beauty of the limestone rocks in the area.
Then, we drive back to Bahariya Oasis and board a bus back to Cairo where you will spend the night.
Day 6

After breakfast, we take a drive to old Cairo where you will visit the old churches, synagogue, and then tour the Citadel and Mohamed Ali mosque.
Then we make a long stop at Khan El Khalili bazaar, an ancient market, which, in our opinion, is the most entertaining part of Cairo.
Enjoy a shopping spree and splurge knowing that your purchases are at the lowest possible prices and that any money you spend here goes directly to Egyptian families and preserving this country’s great heritage.
Day 7
After breakfast, we bid you adieu and transfer you back to the airport for your final departure.
People with late afternoon flights have the option to take a trip to Suez and visit the World War II Museum then cross the Ahmed Hamdi tunnel to Sinai where you will visit an Israeli military base that was captured by the Egyptian soldiers in 1973.
Enjoy a seafood lunch at Suez city then head back to Cairo for your flight.
